Privacy Policy

Class Flow is a student organizer. We built it to help you keep track of classes, assignments, tasks and exams — not to mine your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

1. What we collect

• Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and an authentication record managed by Supabase Auth. We do not store passwords in plain text.
• Your academic data. Classes, assignments, tasks, due dates, schedules, instructor emails and any notes you enter are stored so you can view and manage them across devices.
• Uploaded files. Syllabus PDFs and other documents you upload are stored and processed to extract schedule and assignment information. We use AI to read these files on your behalf.
• Usage and device data. We generate a browser fingerprint when you start a trial to prevent repeated free-trial abuse from the same device. We do not use this fingerprint for advertising or tracking beyond trial eligibility.

2. How we use your data

• To provide and sync your organizer data across devices.
• To extract useful information from uploaded syllabi, such as class schedules and assignment due dates.
• To handle billing, trials and subscription status through Stripe.
• To keep your account secure and enforce access controls.

3. Third-party services we rely on

We do not sell your data. We share only what is necessary with the services that power Class Flow:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Google — sign-in.
• Stripe — subscription billing. We do not store your payment card details; Stripe handles those directly.
• AI provider — syllabus and file text extraction, plus the Ask AI assistant. File content is sent to the AI provider only to answer your questions or extract information you have requested.

4. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your classes, assignments, tasks and files are removed from our active systems. Some information may remain in encrypted backups for a limited time, but it is not used for any other purpose.

5. Your choices

• You can delete individual classes, assignments, tasks and uploaded files from the app.
• To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us at the contact address below. We will process your request as soon as possible.

6. Children's privacy

Class Flow is intended for students age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
